Dancers Over 40 LEGACY AWARDS

Dancers Over 40 Honors our own, at the 7th annualDO40 LEGACY AWARDS AND HOLIDAY DINNER

LIPS RESTAURANT, 227 East 56th St., NYC
We’re back at LIPS for the FIFTH time in our SEVEN years of honoring our own at our LEGACY AWARDS and Holiday Dinner! The date is SET! Monday, December 7th (quite a day to remember!), 6 – 9pm, featuring yet again, an impressive roster of recipients, all of whom have contributed decades of brilliant dancing to the American stage and are always there to support DO40!

Some of these performers began their professional careers when Eisenhower was president!  And actually they all have overlapped in some way or another over the years, either on a Broadway Stage, Ballet Company, or Radio City Music Hall!  Definitely over 100 years of performance between them all!
Tickets will be on sale at the St. Luke’s Box Office in November, and on telecharge as well.  Members, $35.00 with their 2015 – 2016 discount code/membership card; non-members, $50.00.  Members call the telecharge  number 212-947-8844212-947-8844 or go online to www.broadwayoffers.com.  Non-members call telecharge at 212-239-6200212-239-6200 or go to www.telecharge.com.  The St. Luke’s Box Office is open 7 days a week, 2 – 6pm (save phone and online charges by going to the box office!).

At last!

A visitor

We've had the occasional Broadway leading light pop in to see AMELIE as they passed through S.F. Kate Baldwin (FINIAN'S RAINBOW, GIANT) and her hubby Graham Rowat;  Alysha Umphress and Cody Williams, both recently in ON THE TOWN, and this ugly mug, Kyle Dean Massey (centre). He was in NEXT TO NORMAL with our star Adam Chanler-Berat (R) and Perry Sherman (L), coincidentally was in the National Tour.

Panoramic Way

We ventured into the hills above Berkeley to investigate Panoramic Way and other charming residential streets.

The hills are very steep and surprisingly most of the houses were built before 1940, indeed some before 1920.

Then we headed back down the hill past the Berkeley University campus and the massive football grounds.
