Kennedy Center

This was my home for a week while we rehearsed CAMELOT
The front
The back

The view from the café
The foyer. The Japanese designer of THE MAGIC FLUTE had an exhibition of some of the biggest ceramics in the world.
Backstage, in the dressing room corridors, some nostalgia!
And out the front....TA DA!!!

Georgetown

The CAMELOT cast were accommodated in a lovely area of Washington called Georgetown. I think that's where the film of THE EXORCIST was set. It's a university town so packed to the gills with smart shops and restaurants for trendoid young people.
There used to be a trolley service as seen in this painting in an antique shop. You can still see the tracks on some streets.
This was in the same antique shop, if anyone should desire a giant peg in their lounge room.
We hadn't done a shadow pic since Sydney

And these were some lovely wrapping papers in a stationary shop window
