Not a huge achievement in the grand scheme of things but perhaps a record for an Australian musical.
Everyone was very kind and supportive, there were lovely tributes on social media from current cast members...
and a fabulous video with messages from cast members from past productions, including original cast member Ben Lewis, the current PHANTOM in the West End, who wore his Phantom party mask.
A highlight was the current cast singing new lyrics to "Macarthur Park" penned by our director Simon Phillips.
And at the curtain call I was presented with flowers from our wonderful producer Michael Cassel! So, a lovely occasion all round.
Congratulations - when Priscilla arrived in London with some bloke I’d never heard of as Bernadette I went out of curiousity and left overwhelmed. Who knew something with so much confection and brightness and humour could have so much heart and depth and grounding? A lot of that has to do with your take on Bernadette - she is the heart of the show and you’re clearly the heart of all the companies you have lead. Long may she reign!
