On my day off I hopped on the train at 6.30 in the morning and was on a beach at the Gold Coast by 8.30.
I always forget about the outlandish buildings on the Gold Coast.
Across the main road from the beach there runs a canal where sits a giant shopping centre called Pacific Fair.
