Visited a wonderful exhibition in SoHo by an artist named Olek called KNITTING IS FOR PUS****. She crocheted an entire studio apartment. Bed, floors, walls,sink, ironing board, surfboard, everything. There was a pot plant but the pot was crocheted, too. The artist was there and when we commented how clever it was that the plant was the only living thing in the room she looked at us blankly for a moment, then turned to the gallery owner and said "We'd better remember to water it."
