Ed and Tom

Visitors at today's matinee of DOLLY, theatrical couple Ed Staudenmayer and Tom Hewitt.

Ed is currently on tour with ANYTHING GOES playing Sir Evelyn and will soon join the tour of PHANTOM. For years he was a FORBIDDEN BROADWAY stalwart.

Tom Hewitt, a Tony-nominee for ROCKY HORROR SHOW, played Captain Von Trapp opposite Ashley Brown's Maria in a regional SOUND OF MUSIC.

They laughed about how they always had to kiss when Tom was particularly sweaty. Fortunately they like each other. 

Tom has also done a show with Spencer Moses so it was old home week. 

And Klea knows EVERYONE 

 

I met Tom during PRISCILLA and told him that I'd played some of his roles in Australia so it was fun to tell him I was about to do SCOUNDRELS as he played the role in the National Tour here!
