Here is a taste of our first walk to The White House and beyond.
These are some of the colonial buildings the University fathers haven't bulldozed. Just near our 70's hotel.
From here down to the White House the Avenue held some great new buildings
This is the Mexican embassy wrapped around an old terrace
The Renwick was a family home and now, extension tastefully added, is a gallery
The Vice President's little home
The Blair House where VIPs stay and the President if they are wallpapering at home
You might be looking at a future president here
This was a wondrous sight. A Muslim at prayer, wonderful cries of joy to Allah. Let freedom ring!
Something to show Mom
You can't see it but a whirling helicopter had just dropped the President off at the rear of the House
The Treasury
Hotel Washington
That's the Capitol in the distance
The Willard. By now it had a Barcelona/ Madrid feel
Taste taste taste
When I take my sugar to tea
And now two other lone worshippers waving and prostrating before a blond Christ while tacky hymns blasted across the street
These guys probably won't see "Follies"
A bit of Austria
Now for some Mexican tucker.
