Saw my first BROADWAY BARES last night at midnight at the famed Roselands Ballroom and what a revelation it was. Spectacular in every way, wonderful choreography, arrangements, costumes and a cast of the best ( and best looking) dancers on Broadway all volunteering their talents for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
This year's theme was Masterpiece so all the numbers related to famous paintings or painters including Andy Warhol, Magritte, Monet, Rubens, Keith Haring and the Mona Lisa. there were special appearances by David Hyde Pierce, Christopher Sieber, Michael Reidel, Jim Parsons, Rory O'Malley and Roger Rees, the brilliant opening number was performed by Beth Leavel
and the finale by Patina Miller.
I sponsored a couple of mates, PRISCILLA's Joshua Buscher who featured in "Washington Crosses the Delaware"...
also pictured with Brandon Rubendall, partner of PRISCILLA's James Brown III...
and Joshua's gorgeous partner Matt Skrincosky (right) who burned up the place in a body painting tribute to Picasso.
There were too many highlights to mention, it was all one big WOW!!!!!!!!!
