In full bloom

I went to see the gorgeous Nick Adams sing at a benefit at Birdland on Monday night. He sang John Bucchino's "Unexpressed" beautifully in a programme with included performances from MORMON's Nikki James (she is truly a knockout) and MAMMA MIA's Aaron Lazar & Clarke Thorell. The benefit was to aid the Wishing Kids Foundation for people with terminal illness. The benefit's creator Ryan Murray lost his mother to cancer, a mere eight days after her diagnosis. Towards the end she suddenly said "Oh, the wishing kids are here!" Taken aback, Ryan and his family asked if she had wished for anything and without hesitation she replied "A boat full of flowers and a pocketful of miracles". Hence the title of the concert, IN FULL BLOOM.
