It was a day like any other and started like most others …. in The Gift Shop at Niagara Falls Welcome Centre.
Ken was gobsmacked by the vast array of images of the mighty Canada
and wanted one of everything
or all of everything
Then he saw her
She was everything he could never be…dead!
She came as quickly as she left.
Where could she have gone?
Ken knew he’d see her again if he went where she had gone before So he started for the "Behind the Falls" walking ride.
ENGLISH CHINA?
He remembered from the movie the glamorous liveried pages who selected wellingtons and oilskin parkas to a customer’s exact fit.
Seems that David and Margaret caught your flick on the way back from the Venice Film festival ... ;)

A Review By David Stratton and Margaret Pomeranz
In Niagara 2 we meet Ken (played to perfection by KEN DOLL) who spots who he believes to be his perfect match (MARILYN MONROE) in the gift shop at Niagara Falls. Ken then pursues this dream for the rest of the film at the Falls and surrounds.
Director Tony Taylor expertly uses flashbacks and montages of the original film to highlight the vulnerability of Marilyn. His clever use of the falls as the backdrop only adds to the overwhelming desperation and fruitlessness of Kens search.
Brian Thomson’s flashes of yellow and blue throughout the film create an imagery that seamlessly fits with Taylor’s overall message. Not since David Lynches’ Laura Palmer have we seen such an inventive use of plastic in a film! Taylor also uses an empty amusement area and out of order fairy tales to great effect which are reminiscent of early Hitchcock.
I really enjoyed this and it manages to do something that you don't often get in films. It manages to be very funny and also very poignant too and sometimes in the same scene.
Further Comments
DAVID: What about you Margaret?
MARGARET: David, I remember thinking oh no not another sequel! But I have to admit I was more than pleasantly surprised by this piece by Tony Taylor. He's daring and it's funny. He's got such a mischievous sense of humour that comes through in a lot of his films and its there in this one and I love the way that he's created this sort of surreal world.
I thought Tony Sheldon’s cameo was a master stroke – particularly the scene with the rainbow.
You want to go on this search with Ken. For once a sequel is at least as good, if not rather better, than the original. The end the film is quite moving and the rainbow adds a potent touch to the drama we've already seen. I'm giving it four stars.
DAVID: Yes, me too, four stars
