We caught the last day of the Global Cabaret season and were able to witness the wonder that is Canada's premiere diseuse Sharron Matthews. Funny as a circus, generous of voice, body and spirit, Ms. Matthews has recently returned from the Edinburgh Fringe and the "boites" of New York where she killed the people with her exciting arrangements of "Roxanne"/"Call Me" , "High School Confidential", "Brandy" and "Stop in the Name of Love". Hopefully she can be lured to the Adelaide Cabaret Festival in the near future, I think the Aussies will eat her up.
