A dusk to dawn event on the night of October 2nd, the Scotiabank sponsored NUIT BLANCHE promised to turn downtown Toronto into an endless series of art installations that would keep us amused and fascinated until sunrise. The streets were indeed packed with crowds but we all seemed to be wandering in search of an event that didn't exist. After two hours of pavement pounding with no joy, TT wondered if in fact the entire thing was an elaborate April Fools joke. But we did enjoy discovering Toronto by night with the roads closed to traffic so it wasn't a total loss.
