Dancers Over 21

I was invited for "drinks and snacks" at the home of dancer/choreographer Marcus Galante and six hours later we were all STILL talking our silly heads off.

Inevitable when the guest list is Lee Roy Reams (L) and Harvey Evans (R, pictured with me and Marcus). Between them they have worked with EVERY major star on Broadway and in Hollywood including Ethel Merman, Gwen Verdon, Jerome Robbins, Lauren Bacall, Tab Hunter, Ann Miller, Cyd Charisse, Bob Fosse, Gower Champion, Madeline Kahn, Alexis Smith, Carol Channing, Ginger Rogers, Carol Burnett and Julie Andrews so nobody's secrets were safe. Harvey finally insisted that he be allowed to go home and as we left the building we ran into Marge Champion in the foyer, returning after an evening out with Rex Reed. So we stood and chatted for another twenty minutes with 93 year old Marge who looked as stylish as a Vogue model in boots and a leather cap. Of course there was sooo much information flying around last night I can't remember any of the stories today. But I'm sure the guys will tell the same ones again next time we're all together!
