Of course I am on the look out for a new hat and I came upon a website for mens chapeaux here in NY. I clicked on a website only to find the following message
Gents, I’ve been enjoying your blog every morning with my cup of tea … with study and work it truly is my only escape… and WHAT an escape it is! This past week I can’t believe what you guys fitted in from art to theatre. I sit here green with envy but smiling ear to ear that you both are having such an adventure! Adored the Dali ( well done for that melting clock shot) the Klimt in the Neue gallery and of course I was drooling over the Art Deco stuff from the Normandie Dining room to the fan with the fish and that screen was to die for. So impressed with the Florine Stettheimer that I went searching and was pleased to see this was part of a series. Tony your composition is especially fab in the second last shot of the morning glory entry, the blue trees with the yellow cabs in Columbus Circle, the second shot down in the twilight post and I loved the simplicity of the Florist Shop one. But my FAV would have to be you dressed very smartly on the bench … it’s a great shot but then again I guess Sheldon took that not you. Please try to use your self timer and get some more shots of the two of you together! I had read about “Play Dead” and thought it sounded something that would appeal to me as I’m all for audience participation as long as its not me! The Allen Room looked incredible and to see that view looking out to Columbus circle at the corner of Central Park at night must have felt like a very special treat.
Thanks for sharing the adventure with us stowaways! Love to you both.
Self Timer ( just in case Ken hasn’t told you yet ) Around the func/set button there’s a round dial. If you think of that dial as north, south, east, west you’ll see pics of Flower type thing which is for Macro photography ( west), the letters MF which is manual Focus ( north) an arrow thing which is the flash control (east) and a round thing which is the self timer (south). When taking a picture press ( not turn) that dial down or the south side and you’ll see some options that come about single shot, continuous shot and some self timer options ( 2 sec and 10 sec) maybe yours has more options… if all else fails you can ask Ken I hear he knows how to do it.
