Audra McDonald kindly gave me two tickets to the celebration concert of Carnegie Hall's 120th year. The lovely Natalie Mosco was my date. The programme included Dvorak's Carnival, Beethoven's sublime Triple Concerto with Yo-Yo Ma and a Duke Ellington suite of songs angelically sung by Miss M. I do not wish to hear "An American in Paris" ever again.
