An oldie but a goodie. When I did a production of "Servant of Two Masters" for the Bell Shakespeare Company I asked the director, John Bell, if my character could have a heart attack in the curtain call and sit in the above pose until the last audience member had left the theatre. Well, did I bite off more than I could chew. Some people would not leave until I had given up; I dribbled dreadfully; shouts of "He's not dead, I saw him breathing!". One person came up on stage and stuck his finger into my mouth! But all in all it was a hoot!
