If we're to believe the audience reaction everyone loved the show.
If we're to believe the chat rooms everyone hated it.
The world was a happier place before chat rooms.

Chat rooms, forums, message boards … full of people trying to be right about something that is a subjective art form… or looking for discounts Ugh! I go to the theatre at least once a fortnight on average and I can count on one hand how many times I’ve had an opinion on any of those. My experience is the only real opinion of whether the audience loves something is their discussion in intermission, how many of them are still there for the second act and how many come back for a second look. ( and some cases 3rd, 4th, 5th … ;) )
I’m always reminded of the words of Ayn Rand whenever I think about chat rooms : - Peter Keating:- “I’m doing a poll of the room to see what people think” Dominique :- “Why? So you can figure out what you think of it yourself?”
The New York audiences will love Priscilla the same way every other audience has loved it regardless of any negativity found in the chat rooms. xx
