Hahndorf

I love that you can hop on a bus in Adelaide and within minutes be in a quaint German village up in the Hills.
I did flee from the German Village Shop when the relentless accordion and yodeling soundtrack threatened to make my ears bleed.
Then, on the bus trip back to town, I saw an outdoor market in a town called Stirling which warranted a look.

Adelaide

I know people for whom this would be the perfect home!

Adelaide

So suddenly, after a three week break where I was sidelined with a stress fracture in my lower back, here I am standing at the stage door of the Adelaide Festival Centre looking at the River Torrens for the first time in twelve years.

Here's Euan standing in front of the GINORMOUS poster outside the theatre.

Et moi.
A couple of our boys went overseas during the break and returned a little more tanned than the others...
And the adventure continues.

Opening night was our 200th performance!!

Today was the first time I got to walk around the CBD and take in some of the street art.

and, tucked away in a little side street, the Queen's Theatre, which operated between 1841 and 1868.
