Random Act of Kindness Day!!!

There's a day for everything now! So the AMELIE cast hit the streets of New York offering compliments, taking Polaroids of tourists, handing out affirmations, etc. in the spirit of the character Amelie who devotes her life to anonymous acts of goodness.

Emily Afton and I left a bag of quarters at a 9th Avenue laundromat. I always empty my pockets of change at the end of the day and I now have is an ENORMOUS bowl of coins sitting there doing nothing so it was a pleasure to put the quarters to good use.

Then Emily and I handed out flowers to passers-by, most of whom took them in the spirit in which they were intended. Others fled in terror.

I'm not surprised. I'd run from me, too.
