St Paul

The poster is brilliant and the production was pretty darn good. An all-Asian A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC by Theatre Mu with a six piece chamber orchestra was impeccably sung and thoroughly entertaining.
The Park Square Theatre in St. Paul is one of the few surviving theatres in what was once a thriving entertainment district.
There was an interesting display in the foyer documenting St. Paul's glittering theatrical past.
Perhaps Baby June and Louise played here!

a 1920s usherette
Edwin Booth's acting company visiting Minnehaha Falls
A projection in the foyer of an earlier, more ornate architectural feature.
And a sad indication of modern manners
A mural outside on the Square shows the famous diner on the left.
And the Palace Theatre (which appeared to be dark) across from the Park Square.
We also got a gander at the Beer Bus as it cycled past. All those drinkers at the mobile bar are peddling their way around town as they get blotto. Bizarre.
