French Art Deco

A special exhibition of Art Deco ..paintings, furniture, textiles and sculpture dazzle. All the pieces are as new and that is great because deco doesn't age well . Chrome has to gleam, wood has to glow and marble has to shine.
I am not going to credit the artists because I am tired and cranky.

Part of the  first class dining room room of the ill-fated liner "Normandie" which foundered in NY harbour during WWII.
