Both Villages in the Chill

(tt)  These were taken on the way to and from my visit to this amazing doco

From milliner to soldier to fashion writer to photographer and currently the creator of two photo features in the New York Times this is Bill Cunningham's superbly passionate world. It is moving and funny and deeply inspiring.  YOU MUST NOT MISS THIS FILLUM.
After watching Mr C  pedal-glide through New York and only run into a taxi once I might have to get a bike this week. Sheldon won't know cos I'll hide it in the basement.

So here is the journey to and from the flics
From 8th Ave

You may recall a post we made about the infamous Triangle Shirt Waist Fire. This week marked the 100th anniversary of the tragedy and here are some tributes on the very spot where over 50 people landed after having plunged from the engulfed eight floor workshop.

A very elaborate chic reader at the east end of Houston

Looking east up Carmine

Because it was so so cold there were no diners at the outside tables of these 7th Ave eateries. So here they are as the designer would have wanted them...unsullied by the human bum.

Here are the sculptures in the little park on the corner of 7th Ave and Christopher St

And the Duplex nightspot with street stalls

Stonewall Square markets

And who did I hope to see before I got home?
Mr C!!  The sublime one!!!!
