My Way

Miss Keala Settle and I made our first trip to Prospect Heights to visit the Brooklyn Museum and we were very taken with the building and indeed the area surrounding it.

We came specifically to see the exhibition by the French installation artist Jean-Michel Othoniel called MY WAY
which contained fantastical works made of glass and wax and other fancy stuff
A necklace for Rhonda Burchmore?
I think this is called "Ship of Tears"
Do you think he might be gay...?
This was the piece that knocked us out...
We became fascinated with the curtains and want them for our own homes now and forever
The artist had sketched many variations on the bed theme

and here's a terrifc video showing the creation of our other fave with the gold bricks
We only managed one of the five floors at the Museum during our visit but we fell in love with it and plan to return many times. There was also new art on the streets during the journey home...

These, I discovered, were but two of a larger collection
