EYELINE ON THE HIGHLINE

Mr Ron Creager and I walked the Highline this morning. Planted on a disused elevated railway line this floating garden of native vegetation stretches from W 12th to W20th ...at the moment. An extension heading further north is due to open soon.

Apparently this hotel which straddles the Highline is for nudists.  Can you see them?
This area was a meatpacking district and now is being transformed into posh nosh and fashion salons
This might be an original store or an artists statement
And right next door the old pork shops are ritzy warehouses

The line which is kind of Three Sisterish here

Mr Creager  adjusts his dress before continuing

These panels are a salute to the tidal movement of the Hudson

A set of steps becomes an amphitheatre and the stage is 10th Ave which you gaze at through a glass window.

Love this lovely old pub and apartments

This dog was either stuffed or hypnotised

And another lovely stoop!
