film shoot

(Sheldy) I'm doing a couple of scenes in an "independent" film which means the entire thing has a budget of $2.95  I started filming today at 7 a.m. (Eeek!) The scene took place in the manager's office of a car dealership but the actual location was the spectacular Post Office building in 33rd St & 8th Ave which appears to be abandoned in preparation for its conversion into part of Penn Station. It's all empty, full of period detail and quite eerie like the set for THE SHINING.
