Judy Kaye was Seth Rudetsky's guest today for his weekly interview show CHATTERBOX at Don't Tell Mama. She told stories many and varied about her career including her experience understudying and eventually replacing Madeline Kahn in ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY (Seth played the video of her performance at the 1978 Tony Awards), and later the frustration of being cast in both THE RINK and RAGTIME and having the offers withdrawn before the contracts were signed (although she later did open RAGTIME in L.A. and on Broadway.) Judy finished the interview with a rafter shaking rendition of "By Strauss".
