W'burg 2

(tt)  I wanted Sheldon to see a bit of Williamsburg so we went over and had lunch and then a suant. The rents are very high so it might not be here he plonks in October. But it will always be a great place to visit. The newing of this old suburb is happening so so quickly

I would make this my barber even if he gave ratty cuts!

This was where we had lunch Lovely ambiance, smiley staff, good wallpaper, excellent food but it took AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGEZZZZZZZZZZ!

  An in inn

A bar on almost every corner on Berry St

 Yupphouse
A sad Italian poem which I might translate at a later time
The neighbours have been very strange lately

6th St is packed with trend

Sheldon noticed this window for a shop in an arcade. So in we went
A little book shop was selling these so so excellent journals. All different and interspersed with the blank pages are found objects, vintage postcards and old photos. No more things so photos have to do.

Sheldon forced me to have a chocolate dipped apricot from Handsome Dan...who was very.
A salon at the end of the arcade
Brooklyn is chocka with wall art..at the moment.
Everyone is on Facebook
  A new one in progress
This is the oldest cake in the history of the world

This stands outside an electric bike shop

The Shrieking Finger gives us a clue as to her owner
The really new .... architect/graphic designer
 The old
Part of an abandoned totem pole

A company selling everything from furniture polish to steel buckets; linens from France to books on how to kill cockroaches; wooden benches to rabbit hutches. Everything the new Brooklyner could want

And behind this grand facade is a new apartment complex

A little park on the site of the old ferry wharf. Boats stopped when they built the Manhattan Bridge

These two cyclists stopped for a breather by the river
A preserved chimney from a long gone bakery

On the ground floor is an exclusive menswear store

  The Nitehawk Cinema
Oh mother don't let them change Brooklyn too much

  A Tree Grows On Brooklyn

p.s  Before this adventure we saw a model, folio in hand, going up the subway stairs on the way to or back from a shoot?
