jibbering wreck

( tt)  I haven't blubbered over bits of wood, string and old bed sheets since "Warhorse" !

This beautiful telling of the Barrie classic novel whizzes you back to being a kid and the horrible pangs of leaving that fantastic world. Thank God I'm an actor and not in real estate!

From the music and lighting to the sculpture and brilliant manipulation this was a feast.

Above all there was the consummate performance by Karen Kandel who narrated and provided all the character voices. Her heart is as big as the sea and her love for the little wooden children was too much to bear.    I am ill with emotion so am going to make chicken soup.
