(tt) Today was the last day of packing. I don't have to go back now til the end of August when I take possession of the new flat. Sheldon won't see the things in their new home for quite some time. Skype will have to suffice.
We found a big advertising banner for "The Producers" all rolled up. It weighed a ton. There was no place for it in our lives. I made Sheldon act the goat before it was consigned to the tip.
Which reminded Jodie in the U.K. of a pic she'd seen on Twitter.
For those of you who are fans of the film, "Strictly Ballroom", this was the site of the exterior of the Spanish family home where the leading man learned the Pasa Doble. It stood on this disused railway siding in Balmain for years after. Now it has been demolished and nature is taking over.
And next to this little wharf a wonderful houseboat had its mooring. I always hoped that that form of housing might take off in White Bay but no.
