RAIN AND THE WTC

We went for a wander to ground zero which is about to see the unveiling of the twin meditation pools and garden of remembrance on Sunday.
Walked through the park at City Hall first.

This is a garden on a huge sculpture centred around an original homestead. It is dedicated to original settlement of the area and is at the end of Vesey St
It looks like you are on the Yorkshire Moors!

All these trips along the tunnel have quotations from authors and historians. Typical Taylor gravitates to his favourite topics.

Sheldon warms up in an impromptu theatre exercise I set him. You really did feel the chill coming from his make believe fire.

We took the spiral path to the top of the garden

From the top. That's New Jersey in the distance

Sheldon has never been in to the World Finance Centre

Film crews are everywhere setting up for Sunday's ceremony.
Here they are atop one of the few remaining 19th century tenements left in the area.
