(tt) Look! I have my G12 camera back! So a semi rainy night in the magic light district was a good time to be re-acquainting myself with the machina.
Ah, Broadway, you boulevard of broken dreams. We were saddened to hear that HOW TO SUCCEED has been given their notice tonight. Less surprised to hear that LEAP OF FAITH will close after 20 performances.

And here is Miss Stanley who met us at the stage door. An old mate of Miss Lamond's from "42nd STREET", Dottie has been a Broadway fixture in shows such as ANNIE, JEROME ROBBINS' BROADWAY, SUGAR BABIES, SHOW BOAT, FOLLIES, KISS OFTHE SPIDERWOMAN and LA CAGE AUX FOLLES. She saw "PRISCILLA" for the first time and was suitably blown away!
We accompanied her to a jolly restaurant on W38th, "Maria's Mont Blanc" (managed by Lola Del Rivero, Chita Rivera's sister, who was the manageress of the fabled Ted Hook's Backstage back in the '70s). There we met Reg Vessy, Dorothy's hubby, who was celebrating his birthday and regaled us with stories of his life in show biz in Canada. He also showed us some exquisite pencil drawings of cast members of "Billy Elliot" and "Macbeth". He is props master on "Once" and begins drawing that cast this week. He is planning some of the "PRISCILLA" cast and all are eventually bound for a book.
