garden vale and its favourite son

(tt)   I was invited to see Mr Kevin Garnier's new pride and joy. His superb flat in the leafy bayside suburb of Gardenvale.   Kevin was Sheldon's dresser on "The Producers" and is a treasure.
He met me at Ripponlea Station, still preserving a feel of the 30's

These green belt villas are the grist for Dame Edna's mills.

After a late brekky in a local caf we went for a walk down Kevin's street to the beach. This little puppy was trying to break into Jane Turner's mansion. (Kath Day-Knight)

More slipper-pipe domesticity

Mr Garnier surveys the maritime domain that he has chosen as his own

More bayside millions

Ever had your Kevin Court?

This roundabout is the village green of Kevin's local meeting holes

This is classic Melbourne 1920's version of a shopping mall
Upstairs are flats and below little shops which then would have been grocer, fruiterer, newsagent, butcher  and the obligatory 'frock shop'.

Kevin's pice of paradise is on the floor with all the succulents. That'd be right!

  2. Um ...but this is my neighbourhood too. More Elwood than Gardenvale. Gardenvale is across the highway if you don't mind!
