MR BUTEL

(tt)  After braving Telstra and getting my modem fixed I had a wonderful day with Mitchell Butel
He is a brilliant actor/singer and has recently released an album recorded at the Adelaide Cabaret Convention
Shedlon and I worked with him in his first pro show. He was Matt in "The Fantasticks" and he was. since then has won umpteen awards for all sorts of stuff including "Avenue Q".  I saw his stunning flat in the Goldsboro Mort building and we lunched at Jackson's Landing and walked all the way back to the Seymour Centre  for one of the most brilliant plays I have ever seen
Directed by Neil Armfield and designed by Kim Carpenter It featured our mates Deborah Kennedy, Lucia Mastrantone and Rebecca Massey. The central role of Thomas was a tour de force for beautiful Matthew Whittet who deserves every award there is to chuck at him

Here he is with the magical Julie Forsyth who has the heart of a giantess

For you New York readers the production is coming to the New Victory in April next year  DO NOT MISS IT!!!!
