around 50th


(tt)   This poster is of one of our latest weekly tv faces. It is an absurd but very intriguing melo about a man who lives two lives, one of them is a dream state and he does not know which is which.  I totally empathise.
We ate in the french bistro below it

 
Across the road is the famous Lindys. Damon Runyon immortalised it as Mindys. In one story, in the absence of a decent crap game,  he had the obsessive gamblers bet as to whether the cheese cake would outsell the strudel

 
Here is some detail on the facade of the City Centre where we have seen a number of concerts and Encore presentations (next week: Rodgers & Hammerstein's PIPE DREAM)
 
 
 
 
 
The building in the distance was responsible for the neo-classical revival in architecture. That influence is now horribly copied in shopping malls everywhere but in particular in Australia. I had some wooden bricks like this when I was a kid.
