Blossoms in the Village

(tt) Tonight's excursion was down to Barrow St Theatre to see  a play, "Tribes" by Nina Raine.
Before the show wandered through the streets most of which are snowed under
with early blossom. So here are a few flashes for you

Yes it was a....

How about this rooftop jardin?  We'll take it.

In Barrow St just before the play
The play (which has just completed an Australian season at the Melbourne Theatre Company) is directed by David Cromer whose production of OUR TOWN ran for 18 months at Barrow Street. Some lovely performances from deaf actor Russell Harvard, the always terrific Mare Winningham as his mother and Susan Pourfar as a daughter of deaf parents who is losing her own hearing.
