(tt)   Last night I went to the Symphony Space to see a benefit for the Ali Forney Centre...which provides shelter for LGB &T kids most of whom have been disowned by their families and live on the street. Ali himself was murdered, He was a shining light in his community and hence his tribute.

Tovah Feldshuh, a long time host of the evening, was there  to MC again.

The brilliant Jacki Hoffman, Michael Musto and Tonya Pinkins were splendid judges ..often left lost for words by Ms Feldshuh's commentary and the weird and wonderful contestants.

Brent Barrett opened the proceedings with "Beautiful Boys"

The five contestants were ensemble members of current Broadway shows and "Priscilla" was represented by Anthony Wayne who had by far the best bod and who did a stunning  drag rendition of "I am Changing" to a rapturous response.

 Deserved winner was Andrew Cappelle from "Mamma Mia" for an hilarious send up of chicks in heels. I snapped these candids at the end.
