(tt) Went here to see a very silly film called The Grey. It's sort of a Halloween with wolves pickimng off the cast one by one. Liam Neeson is last seen strapping a knife and some smashed mini bottles to his wrists in preparation for taking on a whole pack of big baddies which we are led to believe he will or won't conquer. when the screen went black at the end there was a disinterested groan form the assemblage.
This is the foyer off 42nd St which is a much simplified preservation of the old Eltinge Theatre.
The interesting thing is that it did not stand on this site when they were creating the AMC complex. The developers rolled the whole building on tracks from its original site Here is a contempory shot of the process.
